The MFA-IA Winter Residency will be held January 3-12, 2016. Throughout the residency, we will offer a series of public talks and lectures featuring our new visiting artist faculty plus artists and curators from the region.

Visiting artist faculty Beth Campbell (Brooklyn, NY), Sameer Farooq (Toronto, Canada) and Jared Stanley (Reno, NV) will introduce themselves and their work

Guest Artist Lectures | Tues. January 5, 5-6:30pm

Curator Marji Vecchio (Reno, NV) and artists J. Damron (Reno, NV) and Peter Kreider (Brooklyn, NY) will discuss their practices and projects

The Plain Sense of Things: Curator Talk
Wed. January 6, 7-9pm

Jared Stanley and Sarah Lillegard will talk about co-curating The Plain Sense of Things, a group exhibition spanning the Sierra Nevada College campus.

Guest Lecture | Thur. January 7, 5-6pm

San Diego artist and designer Roman de Salvo will present his upcoming project and exhibition with the MFA-IA program
